Bedbugs

Bed bugs can be found almost anywhere people congregate, including homes, hotels, schools, businesses, retail outlets, and even public transit; they travel quickly and are spread through baggage, clothing, bedding, and furniture. Bed bugs’ mouthparts are intended to penetrate the skin and draw blood. They inject saliva during eating, allowing them to thin the blood. Bed bugs are drawn to the warmth and carbon dioxide that humans exhale. The majority of feeding occurs at night, and they tend to seek refuge during the day and become inactive while digesting the blood meal. They may go long periods without eating.
